2017 UEFA European Under-17 Championship
The 2017 UEFA European Under-17 Championship will be the 16th edition of the UEFA European Under-17 Championship (35th edition if the Under-16 era is also included), the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-17 national teams of Europe. A total of 16 teams will play in the tournament, with players born on or after 1 January 2000 eligible to participate.
Same as previous editions held in odd-numbered years, the tournament acts as the UEFA qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 World Cup. The top five teams of the tournament will qualify for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India as the UEFA representatives.
